Marsha Whyte – Excellence in Beauty & Aesthetics Finalist




With over 20 years of experience in the beauty and aesthetics industry and 13 years as a business owner, Marsha has built more than just a career, she has created a legacy. As a devoted mother of five, she juggles many hats of Mother, teacher and friend for her children and mentee’s alike. she has mastered the art of balancing business and family while making a lasting impact on her community. 

Beyond her role as a mother, Marsha has been a mentor, teacher, and guiding hand to countless young people. She has worked closely with schools across Hackney, including Cardinal Pole, Mossbourne, and Our Lady’s, offering students valuable work experience and training. Recognising the power of opportunity, she has extended her reach to young people at risk, providing them with a positive path in the beauty industry and helping them transform their futures. Parents have approached Marsha on many occasions to provide advice/guidance to their children and she is a strong believer that it takes a community so has always welcomed this with an open heart. 

Marsha’s commitment goes beyond training- she actively nurtures the next generation of entrepreneurs by empowering young individuals to start their own businesses within her own. Her dedication has made her a well-respected figure in the community, known as a pillar of support and inspiration for youth success. 

Her journey is a testament to resilience, passion, and the unwavering belief that with the right guidance and support, all people can achieve greatness in the beauty industry and in life as a whole. 

Marsha believes all things are possible and is passionate about proving this through her hard work, dedication and love. Her go to motto is “nothing beats a trial but a failure” This is a Jamaican proverb which translates to “you cannot succeed if you do not try!”
