Sippsopps Entertainments is a dynamic Dance Fitness company dedicated to promoting both

physical and mental well-being through the joy of Dance Fitness Fun. We encourage

individuals of all ages, stages, and abilities to engage with dance in a way that allows them to

express themselves, have fun, and improve their health.

Our workshops provide a variety of positive benefits, addressing physical needs such as

enhancing cardiovascular health (heart and lung function), flexibility, mobility, muscular

strength, and endurance. Over the past three years, Sippsopps Entertainments has continued

to evolve, even after Sipps, the founder, was diagnosed with neurological conditions

(epilepsy and multiple sclerosis). Despite these challenges, Sipps has adapted her teaching

methods, facilitating workshops that accommodate individuals with different physical needs.

This has included teaching with a walking stick and incorporating chair fitness to

demonstrate various levels of Dance Fitness, encouraging those with varying abilities to get

involved.

In addition to physical benefits, our programs also provide significant mental health benefits,

helping to reduce stress, anxiety, and depression, while boosting self-esteem and confidence.

One of our key goals is to remind mothers that it is possible to balance personal life,

professional life, family care, and still find time for self-care through Dance Fitness.

Sipps, a passionate Dance Fitness instructor, founded Sippsopps Entertainments after the

birth of her first child in 2018. This new chapter of life, combined with her passion for Dance

Fitness and a strong focus on both physical and mental well-being, sparked the idea to create

Sippsopps Entertainments. With a well-thought-out business plan and unwavering support

from family, friends, and the community, Sipps was able to turn her vision into reality,

inspiring other mothers to pursue similar passions and self-care journeys.

The Importance of Creative Arts for Mothers and Community Connection

Engaging in creative arts, including Dance Fitness, is vital for mothers who often juggle

multiple roles. It serves as a form of self-expression and offers a powerful platform for

networking, building connections, and supporting one another. Sippsopps Entertainments is

not just about fitness; it’s about creating a space where mothers can thrive, maintain their

health, and form a supportive community around the arts.

Personal and Community Impact

Running Sippsopps Entertainments has had a profound impact on both Sipps personally and

on others within the community. The feedback from our members speaks volumes, and we

 Self-Care: Emphasizing the importance of looking after oneself, our programs remind

participants that self-care is not selfish but essential for their well-being.

 Inspiring the Next Generation: We are passionate about shaping a positive future

for the next generation, showing them that they can be both creative and health-

conscious.

Sippsopps Entertainments has conducted both one-on-one and group workshops and

collaborated with various charities and companies in the local community. Our collaborations

include organizations such as FlavRicise, Dynamix Black History Month, Black Female

Entrepreneurs, Mums Pride, Events CJB, Mummy’s Link Up, Thamesmead Festival

Unplugged Stage (where Sipps also performed spoken word), Sippsopps Summer Fest (an

annual event celebrating our company and supporting local creative artists), Positive Futures,

Homestart Greenwich Children’s Centres, D-lo, Music Producer Growzie Presents, and many

others.

In 2021, Sippsopps Entertainments was honoured to be nominated for the Excellent Yummy

Mummy Awards under the Creative Arts category, a recognition that has helped us grow and

evolve into what we are today.

through Dance Fitness, self-care, and creative expression. Being nominated once again for
